Mrs. Doucette introduced the Town Meeting and let students know about March Madness that will be held this year. She described a few of the activities students can partake in.

Colin Bowler was named the December Student of the Month. Congratulations to Colin.

WHS unified basketball game.

Everyone at WHS has basketball fever--especially after the BIG win last night over undefeated Dirigo. To continue that excitement for students and faculty, the Unified Basketball 2015 video was shown. The first Unified game will be this Friday at Cony. Our first home game is on Monday, Jan. 25, at 3:30pm.

Kathryn Ross read and reviewed a new WHS library book called Selection. She won the drawing for the month of January. Congratulations, Kathryn! And, keep reading!!!

The One-Acts.
Mr. Price and The One-Acts.

The One-Acts will be at Skowhegan HS on March 4 and 5. "Shuddersome Tales of Poe" involves a great cast and crew. The Winthrop HS community is encouraged to attend.

Anthony Owens earned the Principal's Award for 2016. He will attend the luncheon with Mr. Morin in April and be eligible for a chance to receive one of ten $1000.00 scholarships. Congratulations to Anthony!!!
